The combo agent with roles of initiator and chain transfer agent was demonstrated in RAFT polymerization of styrene. Polymers with defined structures at both a and wends were obtained, which was verified by the successful synthesis of seven-block segments of PS and PMA by sequential addition of monomers in one pot.
